Interconnectedness with Nature

Interconnectedness with nature is a part of what is discussed when we talk about wholeness. Our relationship with nature is a matter of fact and taken for granted, but it certainly has a huge influence on our mood. These are more than mere words and concepts. Both Anna Breytenbach and Jon Young, as well as Richard Louv take a very serious look at our interconnected with nature, in a way that is useful and healing.

Anna Breytenbach talks about separation sickness. Depersonalization is separation inside yourself, which is a mirror for separation outside of yourself.  By separating ourselves from nature, and with that we separate ourselves from our nature, we create more and more separation sickness. As we place ourselves above nature, dominant and in control,  we deny our own dependence on nature.

It can be quite useful to look at the work of Anna Breytenbach, or to read about her, she is an Animal Communicator, someone who communicates with animals.

Anna learned her skills from  Jon Young.  See a short video about that.

Nature Deficit Disorder – Richard Louv talks about the effect of not having enough connection with nature and describes it in a way this could be in the DSM.

Being in nature, interconnected in nature, has a positive effect, a healing effect on depersonalization.
Tip, go out in nature, open yourself for nature, be mindful in nature.
